Meet an Oslo IELTS Tutor: Isak A.

Isak A. grew up in Bergen, then moved to the United States for college. Isak knew firsthand how important an understanding of the English language could be, and he hoped to one day help others achieve their own success by becoming a professional English instructor. He majored in English at Dartmouth University, where he also worked as a tutor. After graduating, Isak obtained a master's degree in teaching, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at San Diego. He then happily accepted a job teaching English to ESL learners.

After a few years, Isak was offered a teaching position at a private school in Oslo. He was excited to return to his home country, and shortly after relocating he joined the team at Manhattan Review as an instructor. Isak loves helping students master the English they need to excel on tests such as the TOEFL and IELTS. His courses fill up almost as soon as they are announced, and students praise his teaching techniques and extensive knowledge of the English language. When he isn't helping future college students prepare for their own academic successes, Isak can be found hiking and playing the drums in a local band.
